Contractors sometimes have reservations about the transition process due to a past experience implementing a construction management system that dragged on and on. Meanwhile, the company was paying for a construction management software application that was "being implemented" for months but not providing any real benefit. Days were spent learning a complicated system, trying to move data and functionality only to realize that it did not provide some of the critical information necessary to make effective and cost conscious decisions.

ComputerEase values your investment in our Construction Management Software. We realize that you are investing time and resources moving to a better way of doing business. It is our goal to get you there as quickly and efficiently as possible. We will work hard to ensure that your staff is effectively trained on your new ComputerEase system. That your data is migrated correctly. And, that your system is up and running in a reasonable amount of time. We want you to see that your investment in ComputerEase saves you money, efficiently provides you with critical information, and that your investment pays off long into the future.

At ComputerEase, we view the migration to our Construction Management Software the same as you would a construction project. There will be a designated project leader, the project will be broken out into manageable tasks, and each task will have a clear completion deadline. Our experienced and highly trained staff will help ensure that your transition to ComputerEase progresses on schedule. Soon it will be up and running, improving your bottom line.

Don't be satisfied with a system that is losing you money. Let us help you make the move to a better way of running your business. Let us help you make the transition to ComputerEase's Construction Management System.

"I wish I would have done it earlier"

As a business owner, we've been in business for 25 years, I wish I would have done it earlier, I wish I wouldn't have waited. Like I said we're a relatively new uh, ComputerEase client, we've been a client for about 8 years and that we were missing the boat uh, we have become far more efficient, far more profitable uhm, by using the software and really being able to drill down into 1, where can we strategically be more profitable uh, that's another one of the un, unintended consequences as well uhm, would be that we, we're now able to identify who is our most profitable client, we're also able to identify why, why they're our most profitable client. Uhm, another unusual unintended consequence is we knew who to get rid of, we knew which customers we don't want anymore. Uhm, before we started using ComputerEase, we had a suspicion but we didn't have good, hard, raw data uhm, we're extremely data driven, ComputerEase has been able to uhm, help us focus strategically and, and move strategically.

People always want to, when you buy any piece of software, they want to jump at, oh, my goodness, you know, I'm going to spend, you know, such an amount of money. But compared to our old accounting system, it immediately started do the AA billings, immediately did certified payroll, and it immediately started tracking our labor costs. So ComputerEase, I mean, started paying for itself within six or seven months.

My experience has been that the learning curve is pretty quick, but we may be a little bit selfish in that in the fact that we’ll take a QuickBooks client and we’ll start manipulating QuickBooks so it looks and feels a little bit like the work that they have to do inside of a higher end software package. You know we’re breaking it down into phases. And so when they go from Quick Books into ComputerEase, uh, they’re doing this similar information. They’re, they’re coding it into multiple phases, uh, they’re uh, uh, putting the billings in the same type of phases. So we haven’t seen uh, a learning curve that has been outside the box, if you will, from QuickBooks to ComputerEase.
